Deepen Your Connection to Nature
Saturday July 15th. Meet at Balanced Hot Yoga at 8am for 830 am Hot vinyasa flow class. 10am Load up and drive to the trailhead, breakfast on the way. Around noon we'll group up at the trailhead & hike in to the Obsidian cliffs & obsidian falls meadow (5.5 miles=3 hours) where we'll do some gentle stretching & enjoy a guided meditative shamanic style journey with Elise Moore followed by 30 minutes silent journaling time. A hearty lunch & tea time will be provided followed by the return hike, bringing us back to the trailhead around 7pm. We'll head to Belknap hotsprings for a post hike soak from 730-830pm prior to driving 1.5 hours back to Eugene. This will be a FULL day of adventure & the hike alone will be enough for many so if you would rather skip the flow class in the morning & meet up at 10am in the parking lot feel free.
Items to Bring:
1.5 Liter Water bottle, backpack (mid size for day trip), sunscreen, a blanket to lay or sit on for shamanic journey, sunhat, sunglasses, swimsuit, towel, comfortable shoes to hike 11 miles in, a sarong/scarf/meditation shawl for covering your eyes and/or skin during journey.
Hot vinyasa Flow class. Breakfast & lunch, tea, water, obsidian hiking permit for each participant, wilderness parking permit for vehicles (bring your own or you are welcome to carpool with us), entrance to hot-springs. Guided shamanic meditation journey.
Meet at BHY 630am for a Hot Vinyasa flow class 8/12 then load up & drive to trailhead. Arrive at trailhead eat a light lunch (provided), gear up & head out. Arrive at Moraine lake and circle up for gentle stretching and guided meditative shamanic style journey with Elise Moore followed by silent retreat/journaling/reflective time. Tea time with a hearty lunch (provided) will be enjoyed with the most amazing views you have laid eyes upon. Hike back to parking lot arriving around 6pm & then a 3 hour drive back to Eugene.
No experience necessary, gear rentals avalible (extra cost per trip), meals not included, each trip will include asana, guided meditation & pranayama.
