Summer 2018

June 16th Tamolich out n' back $65

Saturday June 16th. Meet at Balanced Hot Yoga at 7am, load up and drive to the trailhead. This is a short & easy 2 mile hike to a magnificent blue pool. Picnic snacks & tea (provided) & a guided meditative shamanic journey with Elise Moore followed by 30 minutes silent journaling time. Tea time will be provided followed by the return hike. Option to head to Belknap hotsprings for a post hike soak prior to driving back to Eugene. This will be an all levels fun day of adventure.

Bring: Journal & pen, a more significant lunch should you desire one or money to buy lunch at Belknap, Bug repellent appropriate footwear for light hiking, water, backpack, blanket for sitting on during lunch & creating comfort for meditation, swimsuit & towel if you wish to enjoy the springs. 

 

July 14th Obsidian Out n' back (ODOT permitting) $95

Saturday July 14th. Meet at Balanced Hot Yoga at 7am, Load up and drive to the trailhead. (if the trailhead is not accessible, which we will not know until June, we will have a hike around brice creek planned). Hike in 6 miles (moderate to difficult) to obsidian cliffs & high altitude lakes. Break for snacks & tea (Provided) Settle in for Meditative Shamanic Journey with Elise Moore followed by 30 minutes of silent reflection & journaling. Return hike to trailhead is all downhill :) We will stop by Belknap for a restorative soak in the hot spring on our way home and you can buy a meal at the food cart there which has limited selection of lovely options. This will be a FULL day of Adventure with amazing opportunities for connection.

AUGUST 18TH CRATER LAKE WEEKEND ADVENTURE $225

Saturday August 18th Meet at BHY at 7am, load up & drive to Crater Lake. Hike in to the shore of the lake & stick our toes in the water while we enjoy tea & snacks & the AMAZING VIEWS!!  Head back up to the rim & off to set up camp. After we've set our tents we'll circle up for gentle stretching and guided meditative shamanic journey with Elise Moore followed by silent retreat/journaling/reflective time.  Renee will prepare a scrumptious dinner for all and we can share stories & laughter & LED Bocce ball until bedtime. Sunday morning we'll wake up slow, enjoy tea and breakfast followed by packing up camp & driving back towards Eugene. We'll stop on the way home to explore a few beautiful places along the Umpqua river. This will be a FULL weekend of adventure & we're hoping to be home in time for Hot Flow class at Balanced Sunday afternoon but we won't make any promises :)

Bring: Tent & sleeping bag, Journal & pen, snacks should you desire, appropriate footwear for light-moderate hiking, water, backpack, blanket for sitting on during lunch & creating comfort for meditation, swimsuit & towel in case we find a swimming hole, mosquito repellent, clothes & footwear for lounging, toiletries. 



No experience necessary, gear rentals avalible (extra cost per trip), meals not included, each trip will include asana, guided meditation & pranayama.

 Renee loves anything and everything about outdoor adventure & yoga! Renee has extensive training and experience recreating in the great outdoors. Growing up on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state she learned early on about camping, river play, and sleeping under the stars. A few years living on a boat sailing through the south Pacific further fueled her fire for adventure. In college she spent time taking wildness first responder courses, snow camping & navigational expeditions.
